Professor Adrian Bell to present at the Financial Services Forum annual conference 2013
The Financial Services Forum annually invites a broad range of industry leaders, academics and researchers to share what the future holds for the financial services industry in B2B marketing. Presentations include: considered first-hand experiences from leading B2B practitioners, parallels between medieval and modern age finance, global perspectives of best practice B2B marketing and the political and regulatory challenges in this space.

The Economic History Society has awarded a Carnevali Small Research Grant worth £3,000 to Dr Tony Moore, a medieval economic historian, and Dr Miriam Marra, a finance academic specialising in credit risk, both academics teaching at the triple-accredited Henley Business School's ICMA Centre.

The ICMA Centre hosted another talk as part of the "Industry Insights" series, this time with long-time banking expert and Visiting Fellow Tim Skeet. The talk, entitled ‘The Impact of Brexit’ on the City, proved to be both enlightening and somewhat hopeful for aspiring financial professionals such as myself and my peers. The talk covered many topics, primarily the causes of Brexit, communication deficiencies on the part of politicians and finance specifically, wider instability in the world and the risks all of this poses for finance, and more specifically finance in the City of London.
