City Finance Fair 2013

The City Finance fair 2013 took place yesterday, 10th October in the ICMA Centre Atrium. The event was aimed at introducing specialist organisations to Henley Business School students and was an excellent opportunity for students to expand their knowledge and network of contacts.

Graham Philpott, Career Development Consultant, who organised the event said “It’s so important for students to talk to organisations rather than rely on internet research as Finance is an industry built on relationships. ”

Amongst the companies attending were Validus Risk Management, OSTC, FundApps Ltd, & Old Mill Accountants & Financial Planners. Pictures from the day are available on our Facebook page at this link.

ICMA Centre welcomes international students for research project

We’re delighted to welcome students from the University of Mary Washington (UMW) from Virginia in the US to take part in two University of Reading Undergraduate Placement (UROP) projects based at the ICMA Centre. This is the first time that the UROP programme has been opened to international students.
