City Finance Fair 2013

The City Finance fair 2013 took place yesterday, 10th October in the ICMA Centre Atrium. The event was aimed at introducing specialist organisations to Henley Business School students and was an excellent opportunity for students to expand their knowledge and network of contacts.

Graham Philpott, Career Development Consultant, who organised the event said “It’s so important for students to talk to organisations rather than rely on internet research as Finance is an industry built on relationships. ”

Amongst the companies attending were Validus Risk Management, OSTC, FundApps Ltd, & Old Mill Accountants & Financial Planners. Pictures from the day are available on our Facebook page at this link.

Lecturer receives promotion, award and research project grant

The ICMA Centre's Dr Marcel Prokopczuk has much to celebrate this week. Dr Prokopczuk who joined the Centre in 2009, received a promotion on the 1st of July to Senior Lecturer and yesterday was awarded a University Teaching and Learning prize as well as being awarded a British Academy research project grant.

Students Christmas Party 2018
