He held a lectureship in Economics at The University of Reading prior to joining the University of Melbourne in July 1995. He was promoted to senior lecturer in 2000. Dr Henry's research interests are in Empirical Macro and Financial Economics. He has published in outlets such as The Journal of Applied Econometrics, The Journal of Business, The Journal of Macroeconomics and The Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics.

Castle is a Tutorial Fellow in Economics at Magdalen College, and since 2022 she has been serving as the Director of Climate Econometrics at Nuffield College (where she obtained her PhD in Economics ) and Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, at the University of Oxford.
