Caroline has been working in investment management at Courtiers for over 20 years.
Courtiers, a wealth management firm, offers a range of internships to undergraduate students each summer, and also graduate roles when available.
Caroline heads up the Investment Team and is fund manager of multi-asset funds, direct equity and bond funds. She graduated with a Masters in Civil Engineering and moved into the finance industry as a second career. She is a keen advocate of women in investment and is an active member of “Girls Are INvestors (GAIN)” which aims to inspire young women to get into careers in investing. Caroline is a CFA charterholder and also holds the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing.
She will talk about:
- The different roles in fund management and wealth management
- Getting into fund management and what a typical day looks like
- The evolution of ESG investing
- What key skills should a graduate / under-graduate demonstrate during the assessment process.
